- Open a video and add a text or logo watermark.
- Select the watermark, then open Animation & Timing in its properties to choose motion and timing.
- Play the preview through scene changes. Adjust the mark before exporting the video.
Why use motion?
A moving credit can remain noticeable throughout a clip and make a single static crop less effective. Motion is not copy protection: determined edits can still remove or obscure a mark.
Keep the content watchable
Use restrained opacity and a small logo. Avoid rapid motion across faces, subtitles or demonstrations. For professional footage, a subtle static mark may be the better choice.
Preview timing, not just position
Check when the watermark appears and disappears as well as where it travels. Review the final exported file before publishing; the editor preview is not a substitute for export verification.
